| INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS - establishes an awareness of development and opportunities in other countries which may affect or may be affected by minority professionals. |
| MEMBERSHIP - establishes and maintains a continuous resource of members and updates the Membership Directory. |
| PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT - arranges seminars and special programs to assist members and the community in career planning and development. |
| PUBLIC RELATIONS - provides members of the profession and the public with information on programs or activities undertaken by the Council and other technical organizations. |
| SCHOLARSHIP - seeks out qualified minority applicants and administers the Sprit of Unity Scholarship Program, which provides loans or grants to minority student pursuing an education in engineering or science. |
| AFFILIATIONS - maintains direct contact with all organizations external to NCCBPE, including those in professional, business, educational, and government areas. |
