Each year the Northern California Council of Black Professional Engineers send an announcement letter to Bay area school Counselors requesting student participation in the UC Davis education and engineering field trip.   Participation is limited only by the students interest and enthusiasm in pursuing a career in the sciences. 

The field trip includes seminars, presentations by UCD's Black Engineers Association (BEA), students and NCCBPE members, games and science demonstrations, a guided tour of the UC Davis campus, review of science displays, and students lunches.
