The Akwasiho Women's Development Union was formed to spearhead the Solar Energy Project.

NCCBPE's International Committee played a key role in the development of a corporative agreement between the Constituency For Africa, CFA, and the African Regional Technology Center in Dakar, Senegal.

"Sister to Sister" was an impromtu gathering of women of African dissent at the African American Summit in Harare, Zimbabwe.  These women served as catalysts for Global Village Concepts.
